John Martinson
John is the founder and Managing Partner of Edison Venture Fund.
He shapes overall investment strategies, mentors rising investment professionals and assists general partners in growing their practices. John also leads Edison’s investments in information technology companies serving the pharmaceutical industry and education.
With 28 years of venture capital experience, John has guided 150 equity financings, served on the boards of 40 companies and has made multiple investments in application software serving the drug industry, CRM, education, HR, manufacturing and enterprise solutions. As a board member, he contributes expertise in strategy, marketing and business planning.
