I’m happy to write that Health Market Science (HMS) continues to focus on innovative technology and solutions for clients across the healthcare spectrum. We pioneered the use of Big Data platforms to reduce data latency and improve quality and analysis.  

Most recently, DZone interviewed me in my role as lead architect responsible for the design and development of HMS's Master Data Management (MDM) solution and Big Data platform powered by Cassandra. A successful Big Data platform requires more than simply deploying a NoSQL database. That database needs to integrate with the rest of your architecture, which often requires a polyglot approach to persistence.
