Our Board of Directors is
made up of individuals who understand technology and the healthcare information
industry. Through their varied expertise and collective years experience in
strategy, marketing, business planning, product development, and financial
savvy, the members play an essential role in the growth and direction of Health
Market Science.
Ron Cacciola
Ronald Cacciola is Chief Investment Officer
of Zurich Alternative Asset Management, LLC (ZAAM), a wholly owned subsidiary
of Zurich Financial Services Group. He has 26 years of investment experience
and related finance experience. Prior to co-founding ZAAM, from 1995 to 2005,
Mr. Cacciola served in various senior investment roles for Zurich in the United
States and Switzerland. Previously, he managed fixed-income teams at Home
Insurance Company, County NatWest, Security Pacific and Merrill Lynch.
Christopher French
Christopher French is a Senior Managing
Director at Winterberry Group. Winterberry provides advisory services to
companies in the marketing services & technology, interactive advertising
and specialty media industries. Prior to joining Winterberry Group, Mr. French
served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Cadient Group, a leading
strategic interactive marketing agency for life science companies. Previously,
Mr. French spent eight years at Dendrite International, a provider of software,
information and service solutions to the global life sciences industry. There
he served in a number of capacities; including senior vice president of global
solutions marketing and corporate development and general counsel.
John Martinson
As founder and Managing
Partner of Edison Venture Fund, Martinson shapes overall investment strategies,
mentors rising investment professionals and assists general partners in growing
their practices. John also leads Edison’s investments in information technology
companies serving the pharmaceutical industry and education. With 28 years of
venture capital experience, John has guided 150 equity financings, served on
the boards of 40 companies and has made multiple investments in application
software serving the drug industry, CRM, education, HR, manufacturing and
enterprise solutions. As a board member, he contributes expertise in strategy,
marketing and business planning.
Gregory Mistele
Greg Mistele is the Head of Alternative
Investments for Honeywell Capital Management. He previously worked as Vice President
of Mergers & Acquisitions for a Fortune 500 company, served as Principal of
a technology and telecommunications investment bank, and as Associate Director
of a corporate strategy firm. Greg holds an MBA from Duke University and a BA
from the University of Virginia.
Matt Reichert
Matt Reichert is President, and CEO of Health
Market Science. He joined the company in 2001 as the Vice President of Sales
and Operations. Since then, Matt has managed the launch of several new
products, aggressive revenue growth, and developed the infrastructure and team
to support the company's rapid growth. Matt brings to the board 22 years of
pharmaceutical and IT industry experience, serving in various leadership and
executive functions for pharmaceutical-centric businesses, including
Mediconsult, Dupont Pharmaceuticals, AstraMerck, and GE.
John Ryan
John M. Ryan is President of
Devon Hill Ventures, an angel-investing firm focused on early-stage information
technology companies. Over the past 17 years John has been an investor and/or
an active director in nearly twenty IT companies. Current boards include:
eResearchTechnology, Inc. (Nasdaq:NRWE), Neoware Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:NWRE),
IPR International, Inc., and Health Market Science, Inc. Previously, he was the
founder of SunGard Data Systems, Inc. and served as its CEO and Chairman
through its MBO and IPO until 1988.
Stephen Wray
Stephen Wray is President and CEO of Cadient
Group, a leading independent healthcare-focused interactive communications
company. He oversees worldwide business operations for the firm, including
strategic and financial direction, corporate and product development, as well
as investor and industry relations. With over 25 years of experience in
healthcare communications, Steve was also Vice President of Marketing
Communications for Wyeth and the Co-founder and Chairman Emeritus to the AWARE
Foundation, a Philadelphia-based non-profit organization that provides health
and wellness education.
