The HMS Programmer
Analyst supports the company’s goal of collecting, integrating,
presenting and delivering industry-leading data about healthcare
professionals, organizations and affiliations from a wide array of
sources. The Programmer Analyst can be called upon to prepare
internal datasets, contracted deliverables and HMS MDM solutions via
the usage of internal tools, data manipulation software and
custom-coded scripts.
Responsibilities Include:
*The Programmer Analyst is
responsible for assembling data projects for clients by utilizing HMS
internal too lsets and building custom software solutions as well as partner with Health Market
Science Client Services Project Managers & Business Analysts to
facilitate client requirements sessions.
*Effective communication with
the HMS Sales team, Client Services peers and other internal
resources to ensure requirements are understood and a work-plan
executed.
*Provide input regarding level
of effort and time-line requirements to assist with project
scheduling. Provide periodic status updates throughout the project
life-cycle, including risk escalation and issue resolution management.
*Function in a production
environment where the self-management of deadlines and project
requirements is necessary.
* The ability to interpret and
understand complex business procedures and manage communication to and
from internal or external contacts, including product and development
staff.
*Work with Client Services peers
to maintain project schedule, define scope and estimate effort
associated with multiple projects to assist with project management
and prioritization.
*Complete quality assurance
tasks on delivery files, coordinating with internal resources for
support as needed.

At least two years experience
in:
o Shell scripting and/or Perl,
