Health Market Science HIE Expert to Speak at Annual Medicaid Conference
Michael L. Nelson, DPM, Invited Panel Member at Upcoming MMIS Conference in Austin
King of Prussia, PA — July 12, 2011 — Health Market Science (HMS), leading supplier of provider data and data management solutions, will be represented at the 2011 Medicaid Management Information Systems(MMIS) Conference on July 31- August 4 in Austin, Texas. Michael L. Nelson, DPM and product marketing manager at HMS, will be participating on the panel, “SoYou Think You Know What a Provider Directory Is?”
The session is part of the HIT/ HIE/ ARRA/ HITECH track at the conference and will be moderated by Nancy Peterson, deputy director, New England States Consortium Systems Organization (NESCSO).Also on the panel are Holly Walton, Sr. Analyst, Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP),and a TBA representative from Vermont Medicaid.

The conference is held annually by The New England States Consortium Systems Organization (NESCSO), a non-profit corporation organized by the six New England Health and Human services agencies and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The program includes six subject areas/tracks: Affordable Care Act; HIT / HIE / ARRA / HITECH; MITA and MITA Related; Data Needs/Analytics; Operations / Management / Procurement and Standards. This year’s keynote speaker will be Todd Park, Chief Technology Officer of HHS.
